An Exploration is a way to help organize learning experiences inside a group. An Exploration can be thought of as something like a multi-faceted assignment or project that can be designed to focus on a particular instructional performance challenge.
As the creator of an Exploration, you can build an Exploration to include up to four different components that teachers must submit evidence for or respond to:
- Video Evidence. Define what you want your teacher or teacher candidate to capture with video.
- Peer Feedback. Define how many peer videos you want your teachers to watch and dictate the type of feedback you want to them to give (e.g. identify examples of different levels of student understanding).
- Example Analysis. Provide your teachers with a model or exemplar video that they can then individually watch, analyze, and comment on.
- Other Artifacts. Define other artifacts for your teachers to upload (e.g. audio interviews, planning documents, IEP meeting notes, etc.)
Admins can create an exploration using any combination of the above components. Then teachers upload their evidence and send to their coach for review. This is made easy because built into Explorations is a way for your students to submit their work to a particular coach or supervisor for review and feedback.
