You can use screen recording extensions like Screencastify (screencastify) or RecordRTC to record screen, camera, mic, and speaker activity in your browser. You use these type of extensions to record Google Meet and other video conferences.
1. Download the Screencastify Chrome Extension
2. Record your browser with the Screencastify extension.
The extension will be in the upper right corner of your browser. Use this video tutorial as guidance.
3. Allow access to camera and microphone
4. Choose the option that you would like Screencastify to record, when you are ready, click record
Choose either a specific browser tab to record or your entire desktop. You can also choose to embed your Webcam if you will be using it during the recording.
5. When the recording is complete, stop your recording, a new browser will open up with the option to download your recorded activity
