How to record a Google Meets or Google Hangout
Important Note: If your organization does not have the ability to record Google Meet, use a browser recording extension such as RecordRTC (free) to record your browser activity during the meeting. How to record your browser using RecordRTC
1. Record your Google Meet video conference
Some Google Apps for Education organizations have turned on the ability to record their Google Meet sessions.
The image below shows the "Record Meeting" tab available if your organization has this setting. Use the help article for more guidance.

2. When the recording ends, your video will be saved to your Google Drive
Wait for the recording file to be generated and saved to the meeting organizer’s My Drive > Meet Recordings folder. An email with the recording link is also sent to the meeting organizer and the person who started the recording.
